Bethesda Worship & Music

Thank you to everyone who shared special music with us this summer. What a wonderful variety we’ve been able to enjoy each weekend! If you are looking for an opportunity to share your talents, please reach out to Nancy or Randy Ewing, Co-Directors of Worship & Music at Bethesda.

Bethesda choirs are gearing up for another great year of music! Bethesda Adult Choir (also welcoming students grades 7-12) will meet this fall from 7:00-8:15 on Wednesday evenings, beginning September 6th. Occasionally, we will rehearse until 8:30 pm as we get into the busy season of Advent and Christmas.

The Carillon Choir will kick off the program year with their first rehearsal on Thursday, September 7, beginning at 6:00 pm in the second floor music room. There is a lot of great handbell music in the files! The Carillon Choir has a great time preparing selections for worship and is scheduled to ring once a month during the 9:30 am, Sunday worship service.

Also, be on the lookout for “Sunday Choir” dates to be announced for the fall season. There may even be a “Sunday Bell Choir” opportunity for ALL ages! Bethesda is a church with a strong tradition of great music, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

As we’ve said many times, “make a joyful noise unto the Lord!”
