Help Make Face Masks

Calling all persons who own a sewing machine . . . we need face masks, and we need them now!

We are working to provide free, much-needed face masks to the visitors of our Food Pantry, and you can help create them! Click here for a pattern of the masks, pick out a fabric, and get sewing! Very little sewing experience is necessary for this volunteer-from-home service project, and your effort will have a big impact on helping our neighbors stay healthy while picking up the food they need.

You can donate your masks by dropping them off at the Bethesda Lutheran Church building; please drop them off outside of the Faith & Life entrance during the Food Pantry hours, listed below:
     Mondays: 9-11am
     Tuesdays: 1-3pm; 6:30-8pm
     Wednesdays: 10-11:30am
     Thursdays: 1-3pm

Or you can arrange for a pickup! If you would like to request a mask pickup, please place the masks in a bag on your front porch, then contact Miriam Chadima (click here). If you have any other questions or concerns, they may also be directed to Miriam.
