Worship is at the heart of all we do at Bethesda Lutheran.
Most Wednesdays from September to May a community meal is served from 5:30-6:30 pm. Join in, grab a bite to eat, and lighten your burdens alongside other Christ-followers.
After filling your stomach nourish your soul with our Living Water Wednesday service at 6:30 pm. Our Wednesday worship is a short 30 minutes, perfect for a mid-week pick me up! The service features liturgy led by the people there, so you have a option to participate, from the front, if you like. You’ll also hear a short homily, delivered in person, from either Pastor Bryan or Pastor Ryan, alongside a mix of traditional hymns and modern worship songs. Communion is offered the last Wednesday of the month.
But that’s not all…Wednesday evening programming from Labor Day through Memorial Day is chock full of activity, for all ages!
- Choristers Children’s Choir is from 5:30-6 pm and is designed for kids aged 8-14. Children joyfully sing once a month during our Sunday morning service to the delight of all.
- Oasis Middle School group meets from 7:15-8:15 pm, right after worship. During this time youth participate in confirmation classes, and have a fun service or social activity, often in the local community, every third week.
- Flood High Schoolers get together at 8 pm for an hour, exploring the Word of God, with youth enjoying fun and games in an enriching environment.
- Our Lighthouse adult discussion group gathers at 7:15 pm, right after worship. The group spends an hour chatting up a range of current topics through the lens of scripture.
A staffed nursery for infants through preschool age children is available from 5:00-8 pm.
