I was born in Ames. Several years after my birth my family moved to India where my father took a job. After my father's retirement, we moved to Arkansas where I spent my teenage years. I went to Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. After that I went to a number of institutions of higher education. Before working at Bethesda I had a number of jobs in the Ames area. My favorite thing about Bethesda is the people. I also enjoy the free food.
