Growing Faith Together

Parents, you are the most important faith teacher your child will ever have. The prayers at bedtime, the questions in the car, the way you love your neighbor, that's where faith takes root. At Bethesda, we're here to walk alongside you! From preschool through senior year, our programs give kids and teens a place to belong, to ask big questions, and to discover how deeply God loves them.

SPLASH Children's Ministry

PreK–5th Grade · Wednesdays, 6:15–7:00 PM

Wednesday nights at Bethesda are loud, joyful, and full of faith. Kids start with music, singing, moving, and making a joyful noise together. Then they divide up into their separate classes where Bible stories come alive through hands-on activities that connect Jesus to everyday life.

This year, our lessons follow the church's Lectionary calendar, so kids are learning the same stories they hear in worship over the weekend. It's a great conversation starter for the ride home.

Kids learn in two age groups:

  • Water Walkers (PreK–1st Grade)
  • Wave Makers (2nd–5th Grade)

Wednesday schedule

  • 5:30 PM: Family meal (come hungry!)
  • 6:15 PM: SPLASH Intro and lessons, Rooms 202 & 204

OASIS Confirmation

6th–8th Grade · Wednesdays, 6:00–7:00 PM

Middle school is a season of big changes and bigger questions. OASIS gives students a place to wrestle with those questions honestly and grow in their own faith. Over three years, confirmands dig into scripture, Lutheran teaching, and what it means to follow Jesus. Along the way, they build friendships with peers and mentors who care about them.

At the heart of it all is one life-changing truth: God's love for us, shown in Jesus Christ, is bigger than we can imagine, and it's for them.

Wednesday schedule

  • 5:30 PM: Family meal
  • 6:00 PM: Confirmation class, Conference Room

FLOOD High School Youth Group

9th–12th Grade · Wednesdays, 8:00 PM

No pressure. No pretending. Just a place to belong.

FLOOD is where high schoolers can show up as they are, unwind after a long day, and build real friendships. Each week brings games, good conversation, and a short devotional that connects everyday life with God's love. Whether your teen has been at Bethesda since baptism or has never set foot in a church, they're welcome here, with all their questions, doubts, and curiosity.
