Greetings Oasis Confirmation parents.
Our program year is off to a great start at Bethesda! Thank you for helping to make our kick-off Living Water Wednesday a success. Thank you for having your child at the church by 6:15 for the opening worship rally.
This is a rally/worship format this year, and confirmands will be serving in a more active role as the year progresses.
ACOLYTE SCHEDULE
The tentative schedule was sent home last week. Please look this over and make sure there are no conflicts. I have already had a couple parents reach out and would like to get the schedule finalized with all updates by September 24th. We plan to do some training on that night during our Oasis time.
FELLOWSHIP EVENT
AS OF NOW, we still plan to go mini golfing this Wednesday! Please stay aware of the weather. (There is a chance of rain) We will make a decision by 5:30 if we will be doing something different.
The plan is to meet at the church at 5:45 and the guides will provide transportation to and from Perfect Games.
If your student WILL NOT be in attendance this Wednesday or if YOU will be dropping them off or picking them up, PLEASE LET ME KNOW your plans before Wednesday.
HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL
Our first Service Event will be the Halloween Carnival, October 29. We will need ALL PARENTS and STUDENTS to be involved with this event, please plan to be in attendance. We will need help with set-up, tear down, refreshments, booths, and much more. Planning is already underway, and we'll have sign-up sheets ready by October 1. STAY TUNED!
UPCOMING
September 17 - Mini Golf at Perfect Games - MEET AT CHURCH 5:45. We hope to return by 7:30.
September 24 - Learning Event (bring your bibles)
October 1 - NO LIVING WATER EVENTS
